He used the music from Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns (including Clint Eastwood's "Fist Full Of Dollars") as an inspiration. He went as far as using some of the original performers who recorded the music for the early Clint Eastwood films. He also used the lead singer of the White Stripes for vocals.
