It Was Good...

Surfed the jetty this afternoon. I rode my bike to check it around noon and took the photos below. The pictures of Avalanche breaking were a little misleading because it was super shifty and most were closing out but the off shore winds made things look pretty.

Basically everything was closed out but the jetty. I paddled out there with about 35 other guys and caught three waves. One was mushy, one closed out, and one was the best barrel I've had in a couple of years. It was aprox the size of the one in the third photo and lasted about three seconds before I was schooled by the lip. Worth the paddle out :)
