I woke up early this morning and surfed for three hours. I came home and enjoyed an easter breakfast with our neighbors. After that, Michelle and I spent a couple of hours sailing around Mission Bay. Once back, we BBQ'ed some carne asada. We had a wonderful Sunday!
Between sailing and cooking, we took some photos of the plants in the front yard and Jack chillin' out back. I can feel summer coming!

Sunset Barrel
Not a barrel at sunset beach but a barrel at a beach at sunset. I like the audio at the end.

Fun Tuesday
Came home from work and went for a bike ride. The surf was bumpy but I did see someone get barreled out front. Came home and found the photo below. Nothing fancy, just getting tabled while riding down the street. Don't know who the guy in teal is but I posted a photo of me having fun too! Jumping is fun!

Smooth Like Butter
Brian Foster has been riding bikes for as long as I can remember. Known for his style, he is an old bmx racer who now jumps bikes for fun. I love his style....very smooth...enjoy.

Dupa Rocket
Our block had a yard sale today. Eight different houses in the row. As usual it was more about socializing and less about making money. Wanna sake set and rice steamer for a dollar?
Mike put the snowboard on the air rocket launcher and Ava fell on it , launching it off....hense dupa rocket.

Back in OB
We made it back to OB today. Lots of weird weather. We left Anza Borrego this morning and it was sunny and cooler. Coming over the mountains we drove through a light snow storm. Back in OB and we had some tropical type light rain. Below is the photo of the sunset from the previous post (taken before the storm arrived). I couldn't get it to upload from the desert.

Chillin' In Carrizo Creek
Michelle and I are currently camping in Carizo Creek - in the Anza Borrego State Park. Its an interesting place...very quiet....no one around.....and as of right now (yes right now..... there is cel coverage here) its super windy.
Yesterday we enjoyed a beautiful sunset after a warm desert rain. This morning we went for a drive in the jeep to the Old Carrizo Stage Coach station. Most of the road was pretty mellow but there was a 100 yard stretch that could only be made in a 4wd jeep or other smaller vehicle. We took a photo of the jeep in the old coral.
The road dead-ended into the U.S. Navy Carrizo Bombing Range. Off limits to us... On the way back we passed a road sign for the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Vine Street....but this one was in the middle of nowhere. Go figure...

On The Bay
Michelle and sailed around Mission Bay today....the first time since we passed our ASA 101 class. We saw another rental boat become demasted and we "saved" an old life vest floating in the water. Good times!
Patrick took this photo from the boat he rented with the Plots.
First thing we did when wegot home was buy some gloves ;)
