I think you'll need that...
We're taking off from the Iguana Azul hotel so we will be without wifi for awhile. Catch up with you soon!
Catching up....
OK...the prior post really didn't come from Nosara. I thought I had internet access, but I didn't so it sat in my outbox for a few days. We are back north now at Junquillal. The photo is from the beach at Nosara. The surf was out of control and a giant tree trunk washed up on the beach. Imagine that floating in the lineup.
Made it to Nosara
We stayed at Playa Avellanas for 5 days and decided to drive south. Didn't take long until we started seeing lots of jungle. The photos are from a bed and breakfast run by a swiss couple. The view was out of this world. Had cel reception here so I decided to send an update!

Ready to go!
We made it to the airport and we're checking in. The boardbag is ready to. I hope it arrives without any dings. I dont know who is standing next to my boards....some guys from Kansas checking them out. Michelle has her St. Christopher good luck charm on her backpack.

Getting ready for Costa Rica
I'm packed for Costa Rica. I'm using a different strategy for packing this time. Instead of wrapping the boards in towels...I placed each board in a seperate bag, then placed the bags in the larger travel bag. An umbrella and a frisbee are in there as well for use on the beach. I'm ready for waves!

The plant that needs to be replaced
Our spiky buddy was transplanted to a pot a year ago....then to the ground. Unfortunately it never made it.
The perfect plant for our front yard
We have been on a mission to find a plant to replace somrthing that died in the front yard. Yesterday Michelle and I visited a house in the Kensington area of San Diego. They had a cool spiky looking plant we would like to place in our yard!

Been there....done that
I saw the trash truck get stuck in the sand this morning while checking the surf. The driver had to let some air out of the tires in order to keep going. Ahhhhh the memories of baja.

Built for speed
My Friday project was to put my old bmx cranks on the orange beach cruizer. I took it for a spin around town and got the thumbs up from some guy with a mullet.
